“Every great design begins with an even greater story.”

-Lorinda Mamo, designer

Welcome! I’m Maureen Springer. The guiding principle of my approach to design is that space should be a unique and thoughtfully curated reflection of a client’s taste and lifestyle. I believe my job as a designer is also as a story teller.. to tell the story of a space and the people who call it home. I love creating beautiful new spaces, but also believe in the historic integrity of space, recognizing that each “place” tells its own story. Our homes are so much more than where we live… they are the spaces where we form connections, create memories, and shape our lives.

I studied Historic Preservation at University of Mary Washington and received a BA in Art History from Webster University. As a seasoned retail professional with 20 years experience in retail operations, product development, and brand marketing, I have significant experience with project management, vendor negotiations, and financial planning. Over the course of my professional career, I’ve had the privilege of managing the development and planning for luxury home brands such as Dansk and kate spade new york, and nationally recognized prestige beauty brands such as Estee Lauder, Josie Maran, and It Cosmetics. This professional experience has shaped the way I approach a design project, bringing the highest level of professionalism, attention to detail, and fiscal accountability to each project. I’ve always loved creating beautiful spaces and after renovating three of my own homes, and helping family and friends with creating their spaces, I decided to embrace this passion for thoughtful and beautiful design and leave my corporate cocoon. I received my certification in Interior Design from Moore College of Art and Design in 2019 and have taken several relevant design software courses. I am currently collaborating with a custom builder on new projects and worked with realtors on the Main Line with home staging.
